Canon announces free multi-camera control software
Canon has announced Camera Control Centre, a free application combining camera setup, control and management. Availability is planned for January 2027 for broadcasters, education providers, businesses and public-sector teams.

Camera Control Centre will bring discovery, configuration, remote PTZ control, colour matching and firmware management into one application. Canon says operators can compare four feeds while adjusting pictures and use simulation to plan framing before installation. Groups of cameras can share saved settings. The software supports up to 200 compatible devices, with batch management intended to simplify larger deployments. The release announces a future product: January 2027 is the planned download date, not the date on which the software was published or made available.
